I really love this fragrance! For me it is a perfume that's amazing for all year round. Worn it on really hot days and on some colder days and it is just magic.
I'm not good at identifying notes in a fragrance but the feeling this gives me is wonderful, it makes me both very happy and confident.
I have not been to Rome yet but after smelling this I have to experience this city for myself.
This has exceeded my expectations! I credit Marcelo who first got me into Meo Fusciuni and Alessandro Gualtieri-the master class! When they announced OFT I was disappointed at first, thinking that this endeavor would take away from The Niche channel, making it an infomercial & losing legitimacy. I was wrong. Not only does this fragrance lean high ranking sergeant at the same time broad in reach, Marcelo and Kevin have remained true to their channels and have found a way to make it work! The quality of raw materials as well as presentation, bottle perfection weight and design and Kevin's leather travel leatherette all speak high end niche, "we care about your experience" which is refreshing as there are so many crappy fragrances with cheaper presentations that just want your money. Congrats Marcelo and Kevin! Wish you well on this endeavor. It was also encouraging to see that you are also friends with George Zaharoff as he exemplifies what a businessman should be!
ROMA 271 is warm, mysterious, and effortlessly chic. The opening hits with sparkling blood orange and lemon, bright and alive, before a shadow slips in: fresh-brewed coffee, dark and slightly bitter, grounding the glow. It’s the moment when Rome shifts from postcard to poetry.
Not loud. Not predictable. Just deeply captivating.
Wow. I bought the bottle and the travellers set. So far this is #1 for me. I need to wear it a bit more to gauge longevity but it is a unique and classy scent
The Spirit of Eternal Rome
I had the chance to try this pre-release — and it was love at first breath. The opening bursts with radiant citruses, soon met by a dark, velvety sweetness of coffee. On my skin, that sweetness deepens, taking on a warm, cinnamon-like character — perhaps kissed by the incense that lingers just beneath.
As the hours pass, the sweetness endures — soft, luminous, and nostalgic — like sitting by the Colosseum at sunset, watching the last golden light fade over the ancient ruins.
When night falls, the fragrance reveals its heart. The drydown turns richer, more grounded — vanilla and patchouli weaving together in a quiet harmony, like the moon rising to balance the Roman night.
10/10 - Can't wait to get the full bottle.
Roma 271 is my favorite of the three, well done.
Roma 271 is a glimpse of Rome in a bottle. Incense and wood make you feel like you’re walking the streets of Rome.
Great fragrance! Complex citrus up front fading into espresso-tinged amber/incense/vanilla.
Absolutely amazing fragrance. I pick up different notes every time I wear it.
Amazing creation!
If you have ever been to Rome, this fragrance will definately take you there again. It is for sure an incense fragrance, but perfectly blended with some freshness and a hint of coffee. It calms me down and grounds me, but above all it just smells fantastic.
I was planning to save this for the cooler months but I cannot stop coming back to it! This is a masterpiece. All 3 are very well done but this is my favourite and I’m so glad to have a bottle. Everything is so well blended and each note plays a part. It’s an absolute gem in my collection.
Roma 271 is an amazing creation by OT. The scent could be described as a sacred one. It has that spiritual, divine and peaceful vibe. For me, It starts beautifully with a mix of coffee, orange, citrus and pepper, then moves to coffee incense patchouli. The overall scent profile is divine! Pure! I find this scent profile very unique. I am loving it.
Roma 271 is an absolute projection and longevity beast! The coffee and citrus opening bursts out with incredible strength and easily holds a commanding presence for hours before settling into a smooth, warm base that lasts well into the night. It feels rich, bold and full of character, like the bustling energy of Rome itself, and always gets noticed when I wear it.
Fragrance Review: A Roman Ode in Scent
From the moment I tested this pre-release gem, I knew it was something special. It opens with a distinctly Italian flair—zesty citrus and bold coffee—an unexpected pairing that somehow feels both invigorating and familiar. As the citrus fades, the coffee remains, joined by a smoky veil that’s mysterious yet comforting. Not the incense-laden smokiness of cathedrals, but something more modern, more urban—like dusk settling over cobblestones.
The base is where the magic deepens. Amber and patchouli provide a rich, grounding warmth, while a whisper of orris adds a woody elegance that lingers. The composition leans masculine, and on my skin, its longevity was impressive—lasting from morning well into the night.
This scent doesn’t just wear—it commands. It wraps me in confidence and transports me to Rome, where every street feels like a celebration and every breath carries history. It’s bold, charismatic, and full of presence.
Final Impression:
A fragrance that speaks of leadership, heritage, and the sweet indulgence of la dolce vita.
